Rūnes - MMORPG

Welcome!

mage Forced into exile, the Corynthian Mages land on a forsaken island, Kaliend, where they are welcomed as saviors by the natives believing that they'll bring back an age of wealth and glory. Soon internal disputes between Mages will however kindle a war without mercy. To prevent the whole situation from turning into total chaos, an ancient custom is brought back to life, forcing the Mages to stop using magic outside of specially designed arenas until one of them is designed as a leader. The struggle has begun, the factions raise their champions to emerge victorious and change the fate of Kaliend.

Rūnes MMORPG is a massively multiplayer online game set in the fantasy world of Faera. Players incarnate Mages suspected of treason and exiled. Scattered all over the world, they finally gather on the island of Kaliend where they will have to find a way to get their past glory back. But the way will be full of hardships and conflict, and only the most determinate could hope to offer the Mages a better future.

To become the greatest, players will have to confront to each other during heated up battles that will test their dexterity and rapidity, but also their wit if they hope to be victorious and ascend to legend.

- A new merchant is coming in Ilienda (42 new items) - Due to this new competition, the former merchant of Ilienda joined the merchant guild of Pressiam - Faction balance : the Air faction has a new starting spell - Dungeons "The Worm in the Fruit", "Anima Insana", "The Heroic Trial" : new bots & new loots And everything is available right now, whith no need of a new client. A New Update! A new update of Rūnes is in preparation, the main purpose is to fix some bugs, but mostly, to add more contents! You will find in this new version many minor corrections to improve the game performances, but we were more focus on the battles and AI. The spells have been reviewed, adjusted, balanced either in order to improve the gameplay. New spells appear and many new opponents as well! Artificial intelligence has been improved and the arenas are even more dangerous than before, so as to bring new challenges. And the release date in all this? (Read more) This update is scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, May 19th), no time divulged, but the update will happen in the day! This updated, we will develop dungeons. Dungeons will be a major feature of Rūnes and will bring both new challenges, but also new awards for your characters. In anticipation of this update, the team will propose In Game meetings to discuss with us about Rūnes, but also to challenge the game creators! All information on these meetings will be scheduled on the Forum, please check it out! The installation of this release is very simple, just launch the game, and the update will be lauch automtically during the loading. Have fun all!
